Outside Fun

I always get surprised when I load my pictures onto the computer. It's not unusual for any of my kids to grab the camera and take random pics. Usually they capture a few shots that are worth saving! Today I had taken a few pics of Britney on the bench, then the rest of the pics just magically appeared on my camera!

1st Day of Preschool

Brynlee finally started her second year of preschool. She is going to different place than in the past, but so far she likes it and loves her teacher!

Swim Lessons

We started Brynlee in swim lessons and she is loving it. I'm surprised how quickly she is catching on and learning to swim. Way to go Bryn!

St. George - Part 2

Monday morning Natalie and I headed over to the clubhouse to play racquetball. It was awesome. It's probably been 15 years since I had played so it was fun to play again. Afterwards we got everyone ready and headed to the Pizza Factory for lunch. The guys went golfing after lunch and we just relaxed and had some nice quiet time while the little ones napped. After dinner we headed over to the Rec Center and went swimming. The kids LOVE this place bc the younger ones can go down the big water slide.

Tuesday morning everyone left except us and Josh's parents. We all stayed one more day. We relaxed all morning and I ended up finally have a few hrs to go shopping. Not as fun by myself, but still nice to get a little time away. Josh and his parents took the kids to the clubhouse pool while I was gone. We fed them lunch as soon as I got back and put the girls down for a nap. While the 2 little ones napped Josh and his parents took the other 3 kids to see the movie "Inside Out." The kids loved it and they had a good time. For the evening we headed to the Fiesta Fun Center with the intentions of playing games and bowling. Well, we kind of got hooked on the games so spent all our time there. We found one game that we easily were able to get 250 tickets every time so we ended up with 1500 tickets. The kids loved it and they loved picking out a bunch of prizes at the end. 

Wednesday we got up, packed, and headed out around 11. We made it to Beaver and stopped for lunch, then headed home. This drive didn't go as well as the drive down but we made it. Britney struggled and didn't take her long nap all afternoon so I ended up sitting in the back with her to keep her calm. We just wanted to make it home so we didn't want to stop again. Such a fun trip!!!

St. George - Part 1

We've been planning another St. George trip with the Ericsons since last year when we went. We booked a couple condos and headed down there over Labor Day weekend. We left Friday morning around 9:30. The drive down surprisingly went quite well. We made it all the way to Beaver for lunch, then made it to St. George close to 2:00. I had bought some adult coloring books and new markers and me and the girls literally colored the whole way down there, and during the whole trip. Like we didn't stop coloring. Ever. Brielle did great and watched Umizoomi most of the way. Britney took a great nap and did pretty good. She started getting upset right before lunch, but we made it! I'm realizing I didn't take many pictures :( but we sure had a lot of fun!

Friday we got settled into the condo, went to the store and got food, ate dinner, and headed to the pool. The kids LOVED swimming the whole trip! Saturday the guys went golfing in the morning, I squeezed in a little shopping before we headed to the Ence's house to watch the BYU game. It was fun to see Eric and Janae and the kids had a blast at their house with their kids. BYU won with a hail mary at the end of the game so it was fun to watch the guys freak out. We met up with the Ericson's for dinner, then headed back to the condos to go swimming again.

Sunday was really relaxed. Our family woke up and got ready for church. We headed to sacrament meeting then went to lunch. We relaxed for the afternoon and got ready for family pictures. We went to dinner with the Ericsons then we all headed over to a golf course for family pics. It was hot, but so beautiful. It was green with the red rocks in the background. We are all anxious to see how they turned out. For the most part the kids did great, so I'm hoping we got some good pictures!!!

Cabin Trip with Friends

I didn't take many pics of this trip bc it was SO busy and crazy the whole weekend, but it was SO much fun! It's been years since our group of friends have come up together. We had 8 adults and 15 kids! We had beds for everyone and the kids all did great! We got up there on Friday afternoon, then the Trimbles and Allmans came in the evening, then the Tuckers got their after dinner. Saturday was filled with lots of 4 wheeler rides, kids running around everywhere, eating, and playing hard. The wives even were able to head out for a 4 wheeler ride for an hour. The Allmans left Saturday night, and the rest of us relaxed and talked all night after the kids were in bed. Sunday the Tuckers left after breakfast, then us and the Trimbles played and relaxed the rest of the day. We cleaned up the cabin then headed down to Park City for dinner, then headed home. It was such a fun weekend! 

Before anyone had come up we looked out the window and saw a momma and a baby deer drinking from the barrel. They hung around for about 20 minutes before they headed back up the mountain!

 The group! With 15 kids we were actually surprised there weren't more fights. Everyone had a friend and it was fun to see them all be creative and just play. The girls colored and played school...a lot. The boys did the boy thing and got dirty, threw stuff, ran around, and played hard.
