We're Moving!

So...you've probably noticed that for the first time since I started this blog I am extremely behind. It's been a crazy few weeks. In short, we sold our house! Yeah! We have to be out by this Saturday, so we've been working round the clock getting ready. We finally found out that we can move into the house we are buying and rent it from the owners. Because it is a short sale, we aren't exactly sure how much longer it will be before we can close on it (hopefully by the end of September.) But atleast this way we don't have to move twice and we can be ready for the baby when she comes. So for now, that's what we've been up to. I have SO much to blog about including Brooklyn's 2nd birthday, but it will have to wait b/c we still have lots to do!

Boston's Birthday Party

Brayden and Brooklyn were invited to their friend's birthday party. Boston turned 3 and had a fun Thomas the Train party at the park. Here are the kids playing:

Cabin Trip - Josh's Bday

We were able to celebrate Josh's birthday while we were up at the cabin. We started off the day with his favorite breakfast...strawberry crepes. We enjoyed the morning by playing outside, going for 4-wheeler rides, and just relaxing. The kids took a great nap, then we had a fantastic roast dinner. Here's Brayden checking out the snowmobile:

We dug out some horseshoe pits in the afternoon. Brayden was in heaven being able to help with the shovel:

Of course Brooklyn couldn't get enough of Copper. Poor dog...

Kay made yummy cheesecakes. Like always Brayden had to help blow out the candles. Brooklyn doesn't like fire, so the second the candles were lit she was holding her ears.

Opening presents. Josh got a fishing pole from his parents, and plenty of new Jazz stuff from everyone else.

Another Cabin Trip

For the 24th of July weekend we decided to go up to the cabin with the Ericson's. We took the kids up Thursday night since Josh was off on Friday. Everyone else came and went throughout the weekend. On Friday we took a little 4 wheeler ride down to see the horses. Brooklyn wasn't a fan of the 4-wheeler. She didn't cry, but she held her ears the entire time. Here we are petting the horses:

Chalk

The kids found our tub of sidewalk chalk and decided to draw all over the garage.

Swimming

We finally got together at our friend's parent's house for a swim party. It was A LOT of fun and we definitely need to do it more. They have a mini sports court with a hoop, so Brayden was busy the entire night. Here's Brooklyn watching all the action:
The kids loved the pool, but it took a little bit for them to get used to it. As soon as Brayden felt comfortable he was ALL over the pool like a little fish.

Crew was eating some cereal on the side of the pool, and as soon as Brooklyn saw him she didn't stop asking for cereal. So we finally got her a cup of cereal and she spent atleast 30-45 min chillin' here eating her cereal:
