Children's Discovery Museum

We went to the Children's Musuem with Josh's cousin Sara and her two girls Aubree and Jacie. We had a great time and I realized we have to go there more often! We invited Rachael to come with us since I have a free pass for 4 people. We thought it would be fun to ride Trax down, since I haven't taken the kids on the train for quite some time. Here we are on the train:

Brooklyn was a little excited she got some smarties:
Here's Brayden enjoying his time, mostly spent with Aubree:
Brooklyn loved the balls the best, of course and loved playing with Jacie:

I forgot to take a group picture while we were there, so I snapped one as soon as we got home. Thanks Sara for inviting us along!

Dad's Softball Game

Josh has been playing softball on Monday nights so we've tried to go for FHE when it's early enough. It's perfect b/c there is a little playground right next to the field. Here are the kids swinging:

Last Soccer Game

We have had SO much fun with soccer the past few months. Brayden has LOVED it and continues to ask when his next game is. I was surprised how much he improved over the 8 games. Way to go Brayden!!!

The Incredible Pizza Place

We decided to go check out the new Incredible Pizza place in Draper with some friends in our ward (Nick, Kesha, Boston, and Easton.) We had the all you can eat pizza/pasta/taco/salad/dessert bar that they offer and we were a little dissapointed in the quality of food...more like cafeteria food. After eating we spent the rest of the night playing games, which was a lot of fun. We had a wonderful evening and will consider going back, just not to eat. Here are a bunch of pics from the evening.

Make-up Soccer Game

I had to take pictures of our cute little cheerleader at Brayden's soccer game. It was a little windy, but still pretty warm. Of course Brooklyn was too distracted by all the passing airplanes to smile for a picture. Oh well...she's still cute!

Nicholas Food Show

Josh had his company's food show last Tuesday and Wednesday at the Expo Center. Naturally we went both days, since all it is is basically hundreds of food vendors offering free food samples. The kids love it and we go every year. Here's the kids in front of the cow they were obsessed with:

Mini Photo Shoot

Last Sunday we were at family night at Josh's grandparents house and the kids were all outside playing. So I decided to go on a walk with Brooklyn and try and take some fun pictures. Makes me want to get a better camera b/c I love taking pictures so much!

On our way home we could see a serious storm coming across the valley. The sky was all sorts of funky colors and we could see tons of lightening. Brayden loved watching and listening to the thunder. As soon as we got home I grabbed the umbrella so we could sit on the lawn while it was just sprinkling and watch the lightening:
Here's Brayden shooting the lightening with the garden hose attachment:
We watched for about 5 minutes, then the rain began to fall. Within seconds it was downpouring. We luckily made it inside just in time. We ended up sitting in our doorway for over half an hour watching the storm roll by. The kids were loving it, until the loud thunder of course. It was a wonderful evening!
