Last Dates

I don't know that we have pics of all the dates, but Brayden took each of his sisters on a last outing before he leaves for his mission. It was really neat to see how much the girls loved spending the one on one time with him.

 

Piano Medley

I've been working on a medley to play for Brayden's mission farewell for a while. I thought I had it figured out but it didn't feel right so I started over. I finally figured out what I wanted to do and got to work piecing it all together. This is what it looks like when someone can't write music but can put together stuff that is already written. I think the most I used from one song was 2-3 lines, so this medley is made up of music from over 20 pieces of music. I had to transpose some of it but it is all coming together!

 

Brayden and Ruby

Brayden and Ruby headed out to Wendover to watch the sunset. Such beautiful pics!

 

“First” Halftime

Brooklyn's "first" half-time of the year! She didn't actually get to perform...long story. But she showed up, had a good attitude, and supported the rest of her team. This is a pic of the 3 "trouble makers" that got taken out of the halftime.

 

Lagoon

Britney and the cute girls from her dance team headed to Lagoon and had a blast! Britney has a season pass and has been able to go multiple times with different people. She has loved it!

 

Cougarette Camp

It took 4 computers and multiple helping me to get both Brynlee and Brielle into Cougarette camp! But we were able to get them both registered last January in the 3 minutes before it sold out. They've been looking forward to it all year and they had a blast! They spent 3 days on BYU's campus dancing, having fun, and incorporating the gospel into many things they did. Brynlee won the top gun competition for jumps! She was against all the advanced dancers...most of whom were older than her. Way to go Bryn!

 

Artistry in Motion

The girls have been excited to attend this new convention. They had a lot of great teachers and the Cougarettes were also teaching classes. They loved the classes and I loved having them all together again. Britney got a special call out and got a t shirt. And I met Charity...a dancer that I have loved watching. She was on So You Think You Can Dance but also competed cabaret at BYU ballroom nationals and won, which is what I won back in the day. That means our names are engraved on the same trophy! I also danced with her brother. It was really cool to talk to her and make all the connections.
