It was fun going back to our old high school and watch Brooklyn compete at Alta. They did great and took first!

 

Drill Solo Comp - Alta

Brooklyn competed her solo for the last time this season. We've loved the choreography by Elsie Tueller and it's been Brooklyn's most successful solo! It will be sad to not watch her do this one anymore.

 

Sojo Dance Concert

Brynlee is loving being on the dance company at South Jordan Middle School. This year she was able to choreograph the big group number as well as 2 others. Her routines were honestly the best ones of the show. She did a great job and it was fun to watch her dance for fun rather than have the intensity of competition. 

 

Region Pinning

The Minerettes received their region pins from the principal today. It's a short little ceremony but is a cool tradition they do.

Christmas Tree

Once Christmas is over I'm one of those that is ready for the tree to be put away. It's such a big tree and is kind of in the way all December. The problem is that we need 6 guys to carry it to the garage so we usually have to wait until we host a party with enough people to help us. These guys were troopers and except for a couple broken ornaments we got it all put away until next season!

 

Christmas in Color

The girls have been wanting to go to Christmas in Color all season but we've just been busy. So when they had friends over we quickly hopped in the car and headed over there. Since Christmas was over they changed the music to be music from Wicked and we absolutely loved it!
