Brielle’s Team Party

This is by far one of the cutest teams one of my girls have been on. There are no super strong personalities so they all get to be themselves and no one is overshadowed by others. They are always getting together and having the best time together. Cora's mom hosted their  Christmas party and did their nails so cute and festive!

 

Team Dinner

We hosted the JV and Varsity teams for the team dinner. We did a pasta bar and they of course loved it. 

 

Basketball Game/Halftime

It's always great when we get to see more than one kid at a time. The Minerettes were performing at the basketball half time so it was fun to watch Brayden play then Brooklyn dance. Brayden was on the Instagram post for this game which was pretty cool.

 

Christmas Party

Josh and I supported one of his co workers at their Christmas party. It was fun to get dressed up a little bit and have a nice evening with them.

 

Bingham Ball

Brayden got asked to the Bingham Ball by a girl he doesn't know. He knows the girls that are in the group with her so he's excited to go. He answered her with a poster that we didn't take a picture of, but we did manage to take a quick pic of the glow sticks on the lawn as we ran away. lol

 

Drill Competition - Herriman

1st drill competition! Since we've never done drill before we had no idea what to expect. We got there super early to get seats and spent almost the whole day at the high school. At this comp they had 3A, 5A, and 6A teams all together so we had a huge break in between each of the dances which we didn't love. Hopefully the other comps aren't as spread out. It was fun to feel the intensity and man it was intense. They had a fall in the military routine, but still took 1st place in military. They took 1st in dance routine and 2nd in show. Overall they took 1st! Hopefully they make a few changes on their show routine so it can take first place next time! Good job Brooklyn!

 

1st Drill Solo Competition

Only 2 sophomores are doing solos this year and Brooklyn is one of them. It's not as intense as doing a solo at the studio competitions which is nice. Brooklyn hasn't run her solo much bc she's so busy working on the team routines, but her coach told her this week it was stage ready! She did a great job and we love watching her dance.
