Reflections

I took the girls to the studio at the beginning of the school year for an hour so they could improv to a song of their choice for the Reflections contest at school. They all entered the dance choreography category and they all won at their school level! And then they all won at the district level! And then Brynlee and Britney won at the regional level! Britney got an honorable mention at the state level and Brynlee took 2nd for the second year in a row. Bc of covid they didn't have awards ceremonies but they did have an open house for the state winners to pick up their awards. 

 

Mother’s Day

We had a wonderful and relaxed Mother's Day. I waited all morning for the kids to bring me breakfast in bed like they always do, but it never came. So I finally emerged from my bedroom around 10:30 and found that they had made me breakfast and kept it warming in the oven so that I could sleep in as long as I wanted. They seriously are the best. After church we headed to my parent's house, then made our way to the Ericson's for dinner and to enjoy the evening together. 

 

Britney’s Llama Bedroom

Last year we couldn't decided if we should do a mermaid room or a llama room once we moved into the new house. We ended up deciding on the mermaid room and bought a bunch of stuff that we decorated her room with when we moved in. Honestly I didn't think Britney would stay loving llamas very long. Boy was I wrong! She has continued to love llamas more and more so I couldn't resist surprising her with a llama room. While she was gone one day I rushed and got it all done! She loved it and it turned out super cute! I've still got a couple of things I need to add but for now she finally has her llama room!

I saw this leotard and I couldn't resist buying it her Brit. She is a doll and loves all the attention stuff like this brings her.

I took Brielle to get her baptism pictures and this little peanut tagged along. She had to get in on some of the picture taking action!

 

Stuffed Bunnies!!

My yearly tradition! I can't say it's easy to do 40 stuffed animals, but I somehow manage to get them all done. I love how they turned out this year and the girls loved them too!

 

NRG/Vegas Dance Pics

I love when a dane competition gives all the videos and pictures for free. Some comps charge SO much for them and they don't allow you to take your own videos so you are forced to pay their prices if you want any. Luckily we did 2 comps this year that gave the media for free! I loved the girls' solos this year and I love all these pics!
