Outside Play

With the restrictions in place we aren't allowing any kids in our house, but they are still able to play outside. My girls were thrilled to finally have some girls to play with when the Jensens came over for a little bit. They all just played and played and played!

Digital Online Learning

What a change in pace life has given us. I never thought something like this was possible. But here we are...quarantined at home. The girls were thrilled to each have their own desk space and spent much time decorating it and getting it just right. The teachers had a couple of days of preparation, then we all got started! So far it's been going really well. I feel very blessed that their teachers are still putting forth a lot of effort to continue teaching them rather than expecting me to do it. It's been a bit of trial and error, but for the most part each of their teachers has figured out a great system that is working for their class. I've had to give up my mornings so that I am available for questions if they need help, but for the most part they each are able to do it by themselves. This is NOT homeschooling...this is digital online learning.

St. Patrick's Day

Our sneaky leprechaun came twice! He left some bubbles in the morning, then came back and left a fun treasure hunt. The kids loved running around looking for clues till they were able to find their treasure! Thanks Lucky!

Britney's Birthday Party

It's been a whirlwind lately trying to get the new house built and this house ready to sell. The best I could come up with this year for Britney's birthday party was to have her dance team come over before dance for a little mermaid party! It was thrown together so fast with the help of Brooklyn and Brynlee, but it was SO fun! The girls loved all the little crafts, party favors, and opening presents. I was even able to get them all to dance on time!

Britney's Birthday

I don't think I could even guess how many times in the past 6 months I've heard, "Alexa! How many days until March 9?" Britney has been counting down the days for a while and the day finally came! She had preschool this morning and she was excited to take treats for her class. I was in charge of her little playgroup so I decided to take them to Airborne to celebrate! Brielle stayed home from school bc she wasn't feeling well and was thrilled to join them at Airborne. For the afternoon the girls all watched Frozen 2, then we headed to IHOP for Britney's birthday dinner. Josh's parents were on their way home from St. George and made it just in time to watch Britney open her presents at IHOP. It was a super fun day and Britney enjoyed every minute of it!

Aspire Dance Competition

Our first dance competition with all 4 girls!!! We had to wake up super early to get hair and makeup done and drive to Ogden, but we made it with time to spare! It was fun to see all the girls' routines. They all did a great job! Brielle's team killed it...their jazz routine took a high point award for mini jazz, and their lyrical took the overall high point award for all the mini routines! That means out of about 50 routines their routine had the highest score! They got a huge trophy and got to stand up on stage for pictures. It was SO good for Brielle to get recognized and some attention since she usually stands back while the older girls get all the attention. But overall we had a blast. It was a long day, but the girls loved being with all their friends!
