Last Day of School

The kids have been counting down the days for weeks! Kindergarten gets out a day earlier so they finished up yesterday. It's always fun when one of the kids gets a special award bc then I get to go to the awards ceremony. All my kids happened to get an award, so it was neat to be able to be there. Brynlee got the soaring leader award. Brooklyn also got a string leader award as well as an award for being the safety patrol leader. Brayden got the Presidential Leader award as well as the Hope of America award! The Hope of America award is given to only 10 sixth graders. Their pictures hang in the hall of the school for 6 years, which is really cool. He didn't know he was going to get this award so it was fun to see his reaction when his name was called. We finished the day with a celebratory Menchies run! Congrats on a great year kids!

Brielle's Birthday Party

We had SO much going on in April with dance competitions almost every weekend that we weren't able to do Brielle's bday party till now. Brielle wanted to go swimming so we headed to the rec center with all her friends and had a blast!

Birthday Time!

Sometimes I wish we could just skip this day and not make a big deal of it. Getting older is not as fun as it used to be, but the kids would never let me get away with that so I do my best to let them celebrate! We were super busy but found a few moments to gather at Mod Pizza for a quick dinner.

Tumbling Performance

 This year has been awesome for these 2! I decided to put them in the twice a week tumbling classes and they both really benefitted from it. The extra stretching, strengthening, and flexibility training was huge for them and they've really improved on their skills. It was fun to watch them all year come home with new tricks! We love their teachers and are so grateful for all the work they did with them.

Preschool Graduation

Another year down...one more to go then we are done with preschool forever! Britney loved Teacher Debbie and did great in her class this year. It's sad for it to be over, but fun to have some time off as well. Britney sang all the songs and did great on her nursery rhyme.

Kindergarten Operetta

Brielle was a dancing fairy in the kindergarten operetta. This year they did Peter Pan, which is what Brayden did when he was in kindergarten. It was fun for him to see the play he was in. Brielle did a great job!

Mother's Day

We had a wonderful Mother's day even though it was pretty busy. The primary sang a beautiful song during sacrament meeting. We headed over to my parent's house to visit my mom and give her roses, then headed over to the Ericson's to do the same with Kay and enjoy the evening with everyone. We are so grateful for all the mother's in our lives!
