St. George/Vegas - Days 3 & 4

Saturday morning Brayden had another game but lost it, so we quickly checked out of our hotel and headed back to St. George. We played and relaxed all day with the Trimbles. Amy and I got everything ready for Easter after the kids were in bed. We had to do quite a bit of coordinating to mesh both of our family traditions together, but we were pleased with what we came up with.

Sunday morning we made the kids wait a little bit while we slept in. We barricaded the hallway so they couldn't get into the family room.  But then they finally couldn't wait any longer so we got up and let them all enjoy Easter. The Easter Bunny brought them each a fun gift plus they each got to find 50 eggs. The girls all got a sequin art craft and they absolutely loved it. They spent the rest of the weekend as well as the drive home working on it. We enjoyed the rest of the day and even made it to the park for a little bit. 

St. George/Vegas - Days 1 & 2

We headed down to St. George with the Trimbles. We stayed with them in their condo and had SO much fun. We left Thursday evening so the kids would hopefully sleep most of the way down. We made it with only one bathroom stop and quickly got the kids to bed. Friday we were able to swim and relax in the morning, then we took off to Vegas by early afternoon. Brayden had a bball tournament so it was fun to spend some time there as well. Brayden played well and they won both of their games. After the second game ended we headed over to visit some friends of ours that moved here last summer. It was fun to see the Copley's and the kids LOVED swimming in their very warm pool. We were there until very late when we headed back to our hotel for the night.

Pre-Easter!

We decided to get together with my family the week before Easter to do our traditional egg roll...which meant we had to leave St. George in the morning, get home and quickly paint eggs and head to Celeste's house. But we made it! I bought a new egg spinner to decorate the eggs and the kids loved it. We had fun at Celeste's house and the egg roll was a blast as always!

St. George Dance Comp - Teams

First team comp!!! The girls work so hard all year and can't wait to get on stage and start competing. It was fun to be in St. George for little mini trip full of lots and lots of dancing! My mom came with us and we had a blast. We stayed in the Trimble's condo and it was perfect. The girls and their teams did a great job and it was fun to finally see all their routines! I was busy all week finishing up Brooklyn's team's tank tops and they turned out awesome! I loved being able to give them to all the girls and see their reactions. 

St. George Dance Comp - Solos

The girls did great on their solos! They've been practicing so hard the past few weeks with Misty and it has paid off! Good job girls!
