1st Dance Competition

This year the farthest dance competition we had was Logan. My mom came with us again (although it wasn't as fun as St. George) and we still managed to have a blast! We got a hotel room for 2 nights and definitely enjoyed our time there. On Friday we headed up around 3:30, unloaded at our hotel, then headed to Chuck-a-rama for dinner. We stopped by the store to grab a few things then headed back to the hotel. We took the girls for a quick swim then got settled in for the night. The toilet was separate from the shower, which was perfect bc the pack n play fit perfectly in the shower. I was able to shut the door and she couldn't hear the rest of us. We all slept great! Saturday morning I got up early to get Brooklyn ready. We ate the yummy continental breakfast then headed over to the theatre. Brooklyn had both of her dances first, so while she was backstage I was able to get Brynlee ready. Brooklyn did great!!! I'm not sure how I didn't end up with pics of their dances...I think I was taking video. Brynlee was up next with her 2 dances and they also did great!!! After the awards we headed out, grabbed lunch, and made it back to the hotel by 1! We relaxed for the afternoon while Britney slept, then headed out again for some fun! We found an awesome park and the girls loved playing there. We ate at Costa Vida...a tradition...then back to the hotel for more swimming! Sunday morning it was pretty rainy, so after breakfast we packed up and headed out. It rained for half of the drive, but then cleared up as we got closer to salt lake.  What a fun weekend!

Provo Temple Open House

We've been trying all month to get to the temple open house. We finally figured out a time to meet Josh down there. My aunt Cindy came with us and it was fun to spend the time with her. The kids were good for the most part, although Brielle did have a meltdown in the middle of it. It's a beautiful temple and it was neat for the kids to walk through. They are getting old enough that they have questions so it was great to be able to talk about what they were seeing.

Frozen on Ice

We had such a great time going to Frozen on Ice! We haven't been to Disney on Ice for quite a few years, so when I saw this show coming to town I had to get tickets. Kay came with us and it was nice to have the extra help. We used our Christmas money from my parents to go and the kids loved it! Britney was a little hard to handle and I spent a lot of time taking her out, but it was still worth it! It was fun to see the kids all so enthralled in the show. Brielle is now obsessed with Anna and now asks to watch the movie everyday.
