Indoor Fun

We've been in transition for quite some time. As soon as we finished the major renovations on our house we started moving out of the basement. The beds were the last thing to get moved up. So for about a week we had all our bathroom/shower stuff upstairs as well as all our clothes. Which would be fine except we were still sleeping in the basement. Let's just say I'm not a fan of climbing 2 flights of stairs all day long! The day we decided to move up the mattresses I had a brilliant idea to let them use them as a slide. They loved it!

I finally have figured out a good system to bathing the kids. Now instead of Brynlee sitting and watching the other kids take their bath, she gets to join in! And she LOVES it!



3 Months

Wow the time is flying by! I can't believe our little girl is getting so big! Brynlee continues to be a calming influence in our home. She loves to smile and laugh and loves her brother and sister. She is still pretty chill, but is getting very curious about her surroundings. She loves being on her tummy and is close to rolling over. Brynlee loves being in the Bumbo chair and really enjoys being a part of whatever is going on. We sure love our little Bryn!

The Mattress

Since we've been working on the house, we have mattresses all over the place. Our extra queen mattress ended up in the middle of the family room. This is how I found Josh and the kids after I got home from grocery shopping. No wonder the kids love it when dad watches them!

 Brayden loves the weekend because he knows that Josh will take a nap with him. I love this picture because they are both laying in the exact position, just opposite sides. I guess it's true! Like father, like son!

Silly Boy

I feel SO blessed that Brayden still takes naps during the day. He'll usually play on his bed for about 15 minutes before falling asleep. I went in to wake him up and this is what I found:
I can't even imagine what he was doing or thinking as he fell asleep.

Brynlee's Blessing

We blessed Brynlee on Jan. 2. We realized earlier in the week that there was no way to get everything done that we wanted to for the blessing. So we tried to do what we could and hoped everyone didn't mind coming over to a house that was under construction and had no carpet anywhere and tape/plastic everywhere. Here's the best picture that kinda shows the status of our house. The good thing, however, is that we didn't have 60 people walking on our new carpet that came 4 days after the blessing. 

 We had a wonderful breakfast buffet. I LOVE breakfast food, so I was in heaven. Thanks to all those that brought food!

By the time I had gotten out my camera, Brayden had changed and Brooklyn was grumpy and ready for a nap. Oh well...

I feel so blessed to have 3 wonderful children. Brynlee has been the biggest blessing to us during a time that has been very chaotic. She is very pleasant and peaceful, and her presence in our home has brought a calmness amidst the chaos we've been in with our house. I'm grateful for a husband who holds the priesthood and is such a great husband and father. I'm most grateful for a Father in Heaven who knows me and has entrusted me with this precious little spirit. He sent her at a time when we needed a reminder of what is important in this life. She has been a blessing and a joy in our home. Thank you Brynlee for all you have taught us already.
