Thanksgiving Point Farm Country

We've never been to the farm country at Thanksgiving Point before. We decided to meet up with my college roommate Monica and her little girl Elise and spend the morning there. What a fun day! We spent almost 3 1/2 hours there and the kids had a blast. We looked at all the animals, fed them, rode the ponies, had a picnic, and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Here are a few of the many pics I took:

Field Trip to the Dentist

Brayden's preschool class went to the dentist for a field trip. It was really good since Brayden has always been scared of the dentist. He was very hesitant at first, but by the end he was loving it. Here he is spitting out the floride tablet that turned his mouth all pink:

Fun in the Rain

First of all...thanks to Rachael for these cute pajamas. After she gave them to us we went back and bought more for next year and for the baby (they were on clearance). The kids LOVE wearing them and usually will wear them all day b/c they don't want to take them off.

N-e way, we were playing in the morning when it started to rain. We sat on the porch watching the lightening when the kids decided they wanted to play in the rain. The rest is history...

I love how they look like they are dancing in this picture:
And then the thunder came...
Brooklyn wasn't too happy about the thunder:

Pregnancy Pics

Right now I'm regretting that I haven't taken more pictures throughout this pregnancy. I always think about it, but just never got around to it. Here are the pics I did manage to take:

Utah State Fair

We weren't going to go to the state fair this year since we already went to the county fair, but our friends Nick and Kesha called us up and asked if we wanted to go with them. So we waited for the guys to get off work on Friday and packed up the cars. We met at a Mcdonalds for a quick dinner. By the time we finished dinner we decided it was too late to go, so postponed it to Saturday night since we had already bought tickets.

Saturday evening we headed down earlier and stopped at one of Josh's Mexican restaurants for dinner. We stopped and picked up a pizza for the kids (and me) and quickly ate dinner. We headed over to find a place to park, parked and made the trek to the fair. My parents were already there watching the seal show that had just started. So we quickly met up with them and watched the seal show. Here's the kids standing on some refridgerators we were next to:
Then it was off to see the animals:

Everyone was standing back taking pictures of this HUGE cow, and Brayden just started walking right up to it. We quickly had to stop him from getting too close. The cow wasn't having a good day:
And of course the rides. We bought a few tickets, and while we were walking around someone handed me a bunch they weren't using. So the kids got to go on a few rides. Here's Boston and Brayden on the roller coaster:
By the time we found the hoops they had stopped letting kids shoot. Luckily, they were nice enough to let Brayden take a few shots for free:
Going down the huge slide. Nick and Boston are on the left. Josh, Brayden, and Brooklyn are on the right:
The kids LOVED this ride. It was SO fun to see them giggle the entire time:
We aren't sure how they all fit in the helicopter, but they did. Unfortunately, they were too heavy to get it off the ground. We couldn't stop laughing at them:
Thanks Nick and Kesha for the invite! After 5 1/2 hours of the fair, I wasn't sure if I would make it back to the car without going into labor. But we made it and had a great time!

Preschool Field Trip

Brayden continues to LOVE preschool. Last week we went to the park for a field trip. The kids had a lot of fun playing, especially in the sand. We had a picnic lunch with his class, then played some more. It's neat to see how much Brayden loves his teacher, Miss Robyn, and how much he's learning.

Cuddle Time

For the first time EVER, Brooklyn has started watching TV. I know it's a good thing to not watch TV, but I have waited a long time for her to just sit for 20 min so I can shower, clean, etc. Especially with the new baby on it's way, we are excited that this day has come. She will only watch 2 specific episodes of Little Einsteins, but that is fine with me! Now she asks to watch her show all day long. We only let her watch before her nap and bedtime, so it's a fight the rest of the day. Here's the kids cuddling on Brayden's bed.
