The Incredible Pizza Place

We decided to go check out the new Incredible Pizza place in Draper with some friends in our ward (Nick, Kesha, Boston, and Easton.) We had the all you can eat pizza/pasta/taco/salad/dessert bar that they offer and we were a little dissapointed in the quality of food...more like cafeteria food. After eating we spent the rest of the night playing games, which was a lot of fun. We had a wonderful evening and will consider going back, just not to eat. Here are a bunch of pics from the evening.

Make-up Soccer Game

I had to take pictures of our cute little cheerleader at Brayden's soccer game. It was a little windy, but still pretty warm. Of course Brooklyn was too distracted by all the passing airplanes to smile for a picture. Oh well...she's still cute!

Nicholas Food Show

Josh had his company's food show last Tuesday and Wednesday at the Expo Center. Naturally we went both days, since all it is is basically hundreds of food vendors offering free food samples. The kids love it and we go every year. Here's the kids in front of the cow they were obsessed with:

Mini Photo Shoot

Last Sunday we were at family night at Josh's grandparents house and the kids were all outside playing. So I decided to go on a walk with Brooklyn and try and take some fun pictures. Makes me want to get a better camera b/c I love taking pictures so much!

On our way home we could see a serious storm coming across the valley. The sky was all sorts of funky colors and we could see tons of lightening. Brayden loved watching and listening to the thunder. As soon as we got home I grabbed the umbrella so we could sit on the lawn while it was just sprinkling and watch the lightening:
Here's Brayden shooting the lightening with the garden hose attachment:
We watched for about 5 minutes, then the rain began to fall. Within seconds it was downpouring. We luckily made it inside just in time. We ended up sitting in our doorway for over half an hour watching the storm roll by. The kids were loving it, until the loud thunder of course. It was a wonderful evening!

Soccer Game/Work Party

Two Saturdays ago we had a very busy day. We started at Brayden's soccer game. He did a great job and it's fun to see how much better he gets week by week. Here he is throwing in the ball:Here's Brooklyn hanging out at the game:

As soon as the game ended we took off to Josh's work. It was their summer BBQ and we had a lot of fun. We started out with a yummy lunch:
Brayden has never been in one of these b/c there are always so many kids that he gets too nervous. But because this one had a b-ball hoop, he didn't even notice there were 10 other kids around. It was fun to watch him jump and slam the ball:

Really Kids?!

Whenever I can't hear the kids for a while, I know something is up. We have been keeping some of our food storage downstairs under the stairs in the playroom, and apparently they decided to go "shopping." They found a package of beans, opened it up, and distributed them evenly throughout the basement. If they weren't so cute I might have gotten more mad!

Practicing Soccer

Brayden has been doing really well at his soccer games and is having a lot of fun. We have been trying to help him get better and controlling the ball, so we set up this course for him to practice on:
