Spring Break - St. George

For Christmas my mother in law booked a big house for all of us to go down to St. George for spring break. It was a lot of fun and a good relaxing week. The guys golfed a few times, the kids swam a lot, and we did some hiking. One of the afternoons while the guys were golfing I took my girls for a serendipitous afternoon. We grabbed lunch, went on the short and scary hike, had a dance photo shoot at the top of the hike, went bowling, laughed a lot, and had a perfect afternoon. It was a great week and fun to be with everyone! (Pics are out of order but there were too many of them to rearrange lol).

 

One Rhythm Dance Competition

What a great dance competition! This was a nice break from the longer dane conventions that we normally go to. We have never been to this one before and besides them being behind on the first day I really really liked it! The girls all did their solos on Friday, then team dances on Saturday. The girls did SO good on their solos and sister number. The sister number took 2nd overall for Junior small groups!!! Britney took all the highest awards for the minis and placed 1st overall! And Brynlee got her first 1RM ranking on her solo (a near perfect routine...every competition calls it something different) and she placed 1st overall!!! She has wanted that ranking for SO long and has never gotten one so she was on cloud 9. Her face was priceless when it was announced. A trip to Leatherby's on the way home was a no brainer. The girls work SO hard at these competitions and I couldn't be more proud of how good they continue to get!
