Beehives!

We had an activity at my house to get ready for the Fall Fest, so of course I had to take a picture of my cute beehives!

Women's Conference

We were lucky enough to get a bunch of tickets for the General Women's Conference. Rachael and I were able to take Javier's mom and sister, along with Brooklyn and her best friend Raygan. We headed downtown and stopped at Zupas for dinner, then made it to the conference. The talks were great and we had a good time! We stopped at Menchies on the way home for ice cream and the girls were in heaven!

New Hot Tub!

Our neighbors were selling their hot tub so we impulsively decided to buy it! Well I shouldn't say impulsively...we've been wanting one for a while now. They helped bring it over and once Rudy came and got it all set up they showed us how to use it. We absolutely love it! The kids went nuts and want to go swim all the time. Josh and I have started hot tubbing almost every night. It's so peaceful, quiet, and we love to just sit and talk. I have a feeling we are going to make lots of memories in this thing!

Beauty and the Beast

Kay ended up with a few extra tickets to the Hale Center Theater so she invited us to go along with her to see Beauty and the Beast. It was SO fun! The girls absolutely loved it! It's been years since I've been to a play here so it was fun to go. Thanks Kay!!!

First Day of Preschool!

Brielle missed the first days of school last week bc we were in California, but she was SO excited to get started once we got home! Because of her speech therapy, she goes to 2 different preschools and she loves them both! It's hard having her gone for 4 mornings every week, but it's nice to be able to spend some time with Britney while everyone else is at school.

California Day 12 - Going Home

Vacations are always so hard to go home from. This one was long and SO fun! We were all exhausted and ready to go home. We quickly packed up in the morning and headed to the airport. The kids did pretty well on the flight home and we all crashed when we finally made it. It was a sad afternoon, however, as we finally told the kids that while we were in Disneyland yesterday our next door neighbor passed away unexpectedly. She was the best grandma to our kids and one of my best friends since we've been here. She had a brain aneurysm all of a sudden. This will be a hard week...

California Day 11 - Disneyland

Our last day!!! In the past 2 days everyone has left except for us and Aaron and Vivian. It was kinda nice to have a quiet house! We headed back for one more day at Disneyland. Because we had pretty much hit everything in the park last week, we were able to go back to all our favorites. We were relaxed and just enjoyed the time we had with the kids. Of course they were all exhausted by the time we got home, but it was worth it!
