St. George - Day 2 & 3

We didn't have to be to the competition until the afternoon so we relaxed all morning. I got Brooklyn's hair and makeup all done then we stopped at Subway for lunch before heading over to Dixie High School. Brooklyn's two dances were 3 hrs apart, so we just hung out and watched the other dances as well as chilled in the warm up room. Brooklyn spent the whole day running around with her friends. She did great in her 2 dances! They placed 2nd with both of them. I can't believe she's big enough to do this!!! After the awards were over we grabbed Arby's on the way home, ate, and went to bed!

Brooklyn loved all the attention this weekend. The drive home was great. We stopped in Cedar City for lunch at IHOP then made it all the way home. Brooklyn struggled when my mom left from dropping us off. She loved all her snuggle time with grandma all weekend. She went to bed crying for the next 3 nights bc she wanted grandma. She is now mailing grandma notes and has declared that they are pen pals! Thanks mom for coming and helping me out!

St. George - Day 1

Yay!!! Brooklyn's dance competition finally came! For months I've been nervous about taking a 2 week old to St. George for the competition, but after these past 2 weeks with 5 kids I couldn't get out the door fast enough. I lined up all the babysitters and my mom, Brooklyn, Britney, and I took off! The drive down was great. Britney slept for most of it. We stopped in Spanish Fork to pick up some dance tights, then again in Fillmore for lunch. We made it to St. George in the late afternoon and just relaxed in the awesome condo we rented. We didn't want to take the baby out much, so we spent most of the evening in the condo. We did head to walmart to grab food for breakfast, Barnes and Noble for a charger for Brooklyn's Nook, and then we grabbed Taco Time to eat for dinner back at the condo. The girls went to bed and my mom and I just relaxed and enjoyed the time with no children around :)

Little Orphan Brielle...

Quite often I find my little Brielle scrounging for food. She's in the garbage, finding food on the floor, and always climbs up on the table after we are done eating and eats whatever is left. I promise...I feed her. She just LOVES to eat what she's not given.

Piano

I've been sitting down at the piano and playing with Britney on my lap. The girls come running from wherever they are to dance while I play. Brynlee grabbed my camera and thought we needed to document this moment...

Family Sunday

We had dinner at Justin and Ali's this month. Good food. Good company. Fun night!

Brynlee loves that she has matching jimmies with Britney. I thought it was cute that she was showing Britney the makeup job she did on her Nook. 

 The kids love our blog books and love looking through them with dad.

St. Patrick's Day

Any holiday with a newborn is not easy. And with the kids off track and not having anywhere to go, we didn't even get ready. The kids went ahead and set out Lucky Charms and Brynlee made a leprechaun trap. Our leprechaun, Lucky, doesn't come until the afternoon...he just can't pull it together to make it in the morning. We also had our photo shoot today...instead of doing a newborn shoot I decided to do a sibling shoot. So I spent the entire day getting ready for that. Josh was able to come and help. We were there for 2.5 hrs, mostly bc Brielle wasn't cooperating much. Britney also struggled. Oh the joys of pictures. But we got them done! I'll post some in the next post. Lucky came and did a treasure hunt for the kids while we were at pictures.
