Intrigue Nationals - Down Time

Since we aren't here with our studio and the girls don't have teams to compete with there is quite a bit of downtime. The girls have friends from around the country that are here so they spent a little time with them but mostly we all just hung out together...or slept. So. Much. Sleeping. 

 

Intrigue Nationals - Travel/Arrival

Another year, another week at Intrigue nationals. I really struggled deciding whether or not to take the girls this year since we have a different nationals to go to with our studio. I have spent months trying to decide what would be best for them. Ultimately I let the girls decide and they all wanted to go. For the other nationals my girls qualified to compete for the dancer of the year position, but in order to go to Intrigue they chose to not compete in that and put that money towards Intrigue. It almost paid for the flights and hotel by not doing that part of the studio nationals. So off we went! It was perfect timing bc Brooklyn had drill moratorium the same week so she was able to come. There is nothing better than having all my girls together on a dance trip. They have SO much fun together and I love the bonds they are creating.

 

Brewer Swim Party

We had the Brewer family over for a swim party on Saturday rather than on Sunday. It was fun to relax and enjoy the evening with everyone!

 

Besties

The amount of times I run into Ashlin and Karyn runs in Brooklyn is crazy. Always in the most random places too. This time it was Leatherby's so of course we had to take a pic and send it to Karyn.

 

Minerette Carwash

The annual carwash! This was the first time that Josh went with Brooklyn to help be part of the crew and they had a blast together. I was in and out running girls around but it was fun to be there...and of course we took all our cars through! Brynlee came with me once dance was over and she ran so fast to her friends that are on the team. She can't wait for next year!

 

Wisdom Teeth

One more step closer to being ready to leave on a mission! Luckily Brayden's wisdom teeth had already come in so they were easier to take out. He was hilarious as he came out of anesthesia and I recorded every minute of it. My favorite was when he squawked at me. I asked him what he was doing and he said he was a pterodactyl. Huh? It made for some good laughs. He barely needed time to recover. By the evening he was up and wanting to go out and do stuff. I had to force him to take it easy so he didn't get any infections. 

 

Missionary Activity

For activity days Brayden was asked to accompany Britney and talk about preparing for a mission. I loved hearing about the time they spent together. Britney sure looks up to him a lot.

 

Brayden and Ruby

While everyone was gone Ruby and Brayden had their fair share of adventures. I made Bradyen send me some pics to prove he's still alive since we rarely see him lol. 

 

Epic Drill Camp

Brooklyn headed to Epic drill camp while we were gone. She had a blast and loved every bit of it!
