Basketball - State

There aren't a lot of words that can express how this day felt. We've looked forward to this all season and it was supposed to be a good, hard fought game. Unfortunately poor coaching decisions affected the outcome of the game and these kids walked away with a crushing loss. They weren't even given a chance to fight for it so it was a very emotional end to a difficult season. When we finally found Brayden after the game he collapsed into my arms and we both cried. His passion was taken from him this year by his coach and this may be his last competitive game...we hope the passion comes back and he plays competitively again but for now we are just going to try to find a way to move forward. 

 

Lexi

The kids know that Lexi isn't going to be around much longer. She is getting really old and is having a hard time walking. So they take every opportunity to snuggle her!

 

Basketball - February

February pics of basketball. I'm SO glad I thought to decorate Brayden's bedroom door like we do for the drill girls. It was a lot of fun to print off all his pics from this season and surprise him with it.

Finals! The girls did SO good and killed every one of their routines! The took 1st in dance, 1st in military, and 4th in hip hop. They also won the battle with their military routine.

Drill Nationals - Semis

The girls competed at semis and made it to the finals in all 3 of their dances! I also was able to give them their little ninja stuffed animals and they went crazy over them! I loved that the coaches are obsessed with them and posted them on IG. It makes all the work worth it. These ones were probably the hardest ones I've done bc the costume had so many parts to it. But I was able to get them all done and they turned out great!
