New Years Eve

Since we went to Vegas we arranged for the girls to be places for New Years Eve. They all had a blast with their friends and didn't miss us at all! I only got pics from Britney, but they all had a good night.

 

Backstreet Boys

Ever since we heard how awesome the Backstreet Boys concert was in the sphere in Vegas, we have wanted to go. Josh asked everyone we knew trying to find someone to come with us, but most were out of town this week or had plans. So last minute...like New Year's Eve morning...we decided to drive down to Vegas and go to the concert. I'm not one to buy into the hype over things, but this show really was as amazing as everyone said it was. And it was really cool to celebrate New Years Eve there. The sphere is incredible and breathtaking. We loved reminiscing with all of the music and the visual effects were amazing. We ended up driving back to St. George the next day, went to a movie, relaxed all night, then drove home the next day. It was a quick but fun little getaway. 

 

Brayden Pics - December

Brayden continues to work hard in Mexico. Still a struggle with his comp and area, but he is picking up the language pretty quick. He looks forward to every Monday where they travel 3 hours on a bus to a bigger city where he hangs with other elders from his district. That city has a Texas Roadhouse restaurant so he is loving the weekly visit there. 

 

Livingston Extended Christmas Party

What a week of parties! Normally all the parties are spread out over December and January but this year they were all in a week and we hosted 5 of them. It was a lot and pretty exhausting, but we are grateful to have a house that hosts a lot of people. Tonight we had Kay's family over and it is always a lot of fun when we get together with them. 

 

Pendleton Extended Christmas Party

My mom's family all came over for a yummy brunch. It is always neat to see them! We definitely don't see them enough so it was great to catch up.

 

Brewer Christmas Party

The Brewer's came to our house to spend the day together. We played a lot of pickleball, games, and watched a lot of football. We opened gifts then we headed over to the ice rink. Justin helped build it and manages it so we were able to get on the ice after it closed. It was a lot of fun to be there with just our family. Unfortunately Brielle wasn't feeling well so she stayed home with Josh and went to bed. 

 

Christmas

Christmas! We are known for not getting up early, and this year was no exception. The girls all wanted to sleep in as well, so we decided on 9:30 to wake up. Of course Brayden ended up calling us at 7:30am and I felt bad asking him to give us a couple hours, but for reals. He should've known better lol. He didn't know how much time he would have so we ended up getting up a little earlier than planned. We started off with a family prayer then got going on gifts. Brayden was on FaceTime for about 2 hours with us so it was fun having with share the morning with us. Santa brought us a skee ball machine (being delivered next week) and mirrors for the gym! The girls were extremely excited for the mirrors. It's really hard for them to practice without being able to see themselves. We headed over to Michael and Natalie's house in the afternoon and spent the evening with the Ericsons. Brayden called again and spent a few hours being passed around. Everyone loved talking to him!

My annual before Christmas pics. It's always stressful trying to get everything set up for Christmas, and this year was a little more difficult bc we had everyone over last night. But we got it all done and can't wait for the girls!

 

Christmas Eve

Now that Josh has a normal job, he is more available to do fun things with us during the day. We decided to head to the movies and see Zootopia 2. It was a darling movie. For dinner all the Ericsons came over for dinner.
