District Dance Co

Brynlee headed to the district dance festival with her middle school dance company. It was fun for all the Empower girls to find each other and watch each other dance. 

 

Turtles?

These two. They found a puzzle at Kay and Steve's house and decided to do. Then decided to be turtles while I took the pic. Nice. 

 

Celebrating Samantha & Khalila

Rachelle waited until now to celebrate Samantha's birthday so she could do it in conjunction with Khalila's sealing. They adopted her and were finally able to get sealed in the temple. It was a neat and special experience they were able to have with their little family in the temple and we are so excited that Khalia is a part of our family now! Everyone came over to our house to celebrate and do the annual butterfly release.

Can't wait for the official basketball season to begin in November!

 

Lake Powell

Our third and final trip to Powell this year. We've never been down there this late in the season so we weren't sure if the weather was going to work out. But it was beautiful and probably the most perfect weather we've ever had. The group was the smallest we've been with so preparing the food was pretty easy. It was an amazing trip and we are always so grateful to be invited. 

 

BYU Game

BYU is doing great this season! The games are a lot of fun to go to with a lot of game winning touchdowns at the end of the game.

 

HOCO - Brayden & Ellie

Brayden took Ellie Broadbent to Homecoming. 

 

HOCO - Brooklyn & Kimball

Brooklyn went to Homecoming with her boyfriend Kimball. They took the ski lift up at Snowbird and walked around up at the top of the mountain. After the dance they went to a haunted house.
