Christmas in Color

I was in charge of the team dinner for Brooklyn's team so I brought them pizza and took them through the Christmas in Color that's close to the studio. It was cold but they bundled up and loved jamming to all the songs while looking at the lights.

Basketball Pics

Occasionally we get pics that are taken by the Bingham photographer. I was pleasantly surprised when I happened to run across a link for pics taken at this game. Brayden looked awesome and got a bunch of cool pics of him!

Festival of Trees

Another year, another tree. We love this tradition of honoring Samantha this way. We spent the morning decorating the tree and eating scones. The tree turned out beautifully and was titled "Prancing in Heaven."

Gentri

I love Gentri and their music. I first saw them when I went with a friend to President Nelson's birthday celebration and they sang a song. My friend and I immediately bought tickets to their Christmas concert that year for us and our husbands and it was incredible. I've wanted to go again ever since but it hasn't worked out. I've checked tickets a couple of times this year and they are pricey and also the weekend of Thanksgiving, which is hard to know what we would end up doing. But the day before Thanksgiving someone on Facebook posted that they won 10 tickets and wouldn't be able to use them. I commented and she ended up giving me 5 tickets!! I was SO excited! So my mom, sisters, and I planned on going but had one extra ticket so I called Cindy. She ironically had been given 2 tickets from my other aunt that got covid and they couldn't go. So I ended up sitting with Cindy in her awesome seats while my mom, Ali, Celeste, Brooklyn, and Paige sat in the 5 seats my friend won. We stopped for lunch on the way and had an amazing afternoon. The concert was incredible and literally took my breath away several times.

Elfie and Christina

We always get excited anticipating the return of our elves. The girls have been counting down the days and can't wait for the next month of searching for them every morning.

Thanksgiving Part 2

Today we woke up and headed to the Desert Star Playhouse with the Brewers for their morning show. We all got tickets on the front row and some on the second, which we've never done before. It was so fun to be so close to the stage. One of the performers is one of the dance moms to girls on my daughter's dance teams so she knew we were coming and told members of the cast to pick on us...especially Britney. It was hilarious watching them interact with our kids. The show was fun and we all had a great time. After the show we headed back to our house for another day of fun. The girls painted with grandma, did origami with grandpa, and played games all day. All of the cousins slept over so the fun never stopped!

Thanksgiving

What a fun day! The Brewers all came to our house for Thanksgiving this year and in my opinion it was one of the funnest we've ever had. We had a yummy turkey dinner in the afternoon then played games and hung out. We kept the pool open all month so we could swim on Thanksgiving but I wasn't sure it was going to be worth it. Man was I wrong! The weather was beautiful for November and while it was definitely cold the 98 degree pool made it unnoticeable. We had the fire going for the adults which was just enough heat to allow us to hang out and watch the party in the pool. It's become a whole new experience getting together since everyone is done having kids and the cousins are all getting older and have so much fun when we get together. We bought a new speaker and hooked up the projector and they literally did karaoke for at least 90 minutes. I think overall they spent 3 hours in the pool. The day couldn't have gone any better and our hearts were full of gratitude for all the blessings we have in our life and family to share it all with.
