Dance Competition - Intrigue (Team)

This was our first convention! Conventions are very different than competitions. They still compete their dances, but they also have 2 days full of master classes. It's exhausting but SO much fun. The girls learned a lot and did great with their teams. Brynlee was selected out of the big group of mini dancers to receive one of the scholarships! She was SO excited and we couldn't believe it! Good job Bryn!

Region STEM Fair

Brayden and Mason both made it to the region STEM fair...and they both moved on to state! They are excited and can't wait! Good job boys!

Dance Competition - Thanksgiving Point (Solos)

The girls did their solos at this competition last year and we really liked it. Empower teams don't come to it, so it was just us and the Jensens. It's a cheaper competition and easier, so we treat it like a dress rehearsal. It was fun to see their solos in costume on stage, and it's nice to get the judging sheets to see what changes need to be made for the bigger competitions. Brooklyn and Brynlee both got first place marks! So they were really excited...they all danced great!

Valentine's Day

We love Valentine's day! I tried a few new things with the girls' hair and I love how they turned out! The kids had fun at school with their class parties and brought home plenty of treats. I've been waiting to give them their squishmallows that I bought weeks ago and they all loved them! We finished the night off with some chocolate fondue. Josh and I will celebrate another night...without kids.

Valentine's Boxes

We may or may not go a little crazy when it comes to anything crafty. The kids came up with some fun ideas and even though it took quite a bit of time, their boxes turned out great! Special thanks to Brayden for reusing his awesome box from last year. It was nice to just make 2 this year.

Valentine Party

During Brynlee's break at dance I brought her team home and we had a quick little Valentine party. We had pizza, played Bingo, passed out treats, and headed back to dance! We love these girls!

Snuggles

The girls love having Rylee around. She's like a big sister to them and they love hanging out!

Fun with Friends

We had our annual Christmas party with our friends at the Allman's house. It was a lot of fun and the kids couldn't stop playing. Even the adults got in on the fun and played some games in their gym. We just got our new air track so we brought it for the girls to tumble on. Such a fun night!

King Brayden

Brayden's school class put on a little play of Hamlet. He was the king and did a great job!

Crazy Hair Day

Normally the kids give me plenty of notice for crazy hair day. Somehow they failed to mention it to me this time, so we had to do our best last minute. I ran to the dollar store last night and grabbed a few things to see what we could come up with. It worked! The kids were pleased with what we were able to do!
