Cabin Trip w/ the Allmans - Day 1

We decided to head up one last time to the cabin before the snow melted. Ummm...we got there and we were too late! The snow had melted and the parking lot at the bottom was completely dry, along with all the snowmobiles that were left there. So we debated for a while what to do and Josh decided to walk up to the cabin to go get a 4 wheeler. Of course we left our new 4 wheeler keys at home, so that was a bummer. I stayed in the van with the girls and tried to keep them entertained. Josh called from the cabin and said there was enough snow to bring a snowmobile down most of the way, but we would have to walk up the big hill and partly around the field. So the girls and I suited up and started walking. Josh ended up taking all 4 girls up with the sled full of our duffle bags. While he took them up to the cabin I made 2 more trips down to the van to haul up our bins and cooler. At one point walking up the big hill I didn't think I was going to make it, but somehow I managed and got all of our gear to the snowmobile. Josh left the girls at the cabin watching their iPads (Brayden slept at grandma and grandpas so he could come up with grandpa tomorrow) and we were able to load up the sled with all our gear. Of course the sled kept tipping over so I ended up running next to it holding it upright. By the time we got up to the cabin I was exhausted! But we made it! We got the girls all settled and in bed then enjoyed a quiet night as we relaxed and watched a movie.

Riverton High Dance Competition

Another dance competition in the books! The girls did great at this one and it was nice that it was so close. All their dances were around the same time so we only spent 4 hrs there instead of 12 like last week! Kay and Steve came and were able to watch the girls dance. They brought flowers for the girls, which they absolutely loved!

St. Patrick's Day

The kids have been talking about building leprechaun traps for weeks, so they were super excited when they finally were able to put them together. They stayed up late Thursday night building them in hopes of catching Lucky the Leprechaun. They waited and waited all day for Lucky to come and were bummed that it took him so long to get to our house. We had a wedding reception to go to that night, but when we got home the kids were thrilled to see that Lucky FINALLY stopped by our house! They didn't catch him, but they had fun running around the house on a treasure hunt looking for their treasure!

Roller Skates!

Of course when the older girls got out their roller blades, Brielle just had to try it too! So I dug out the beginner skates from the shed and got her all set up! I forgot how exciting learning how to skate can be for a little kid. After doing it 3 other times it kinda loses it's excitement, but seeing the smile on her face made us all so excited for her! 

FHE at the Park

Tobi invited us to go to the park with them for family night. It turned out to be a lot of fun. We ate pizza for dinner and had ice cream sandwiches after playing freeze ball all night!

The night finally came to have our final dinner with Cinthya. I've been avoiding thinking about it for months bc I have loved having her in our home and she is such a big help for us! She requested to have pasta, one of our favorites, so we all LOVED dinner. After we let Britney open her presents we spent some time taking pics and giving hugs. Luckily we still get to see her in the morning before she leaves so I wasn't a total mess in front of everyone. Once we got home the kids lost it and ended up snuggling and crying on the couch with her. We will miss her SO much!

Celebrating Britney's Birthday

Because we went to Disney on Ice, we didn't have time to open Britney's presents. So we ended up having dinner at the Ericson's to celebrate as well as spend our last night with Cinthya.
