Rachael and Ben's Wedding

It has been such a busy month for everyone getting ready for Rachael's wedding. I helped out as much as I could, but with 5 kids I wasn't much help. It's always neat to go to the temple and witness 2 people getting sealed. Rachael looked beautiful and the ceremony was neat. The kids were excited to see her come out of the temple. After taking pics we headed home so the little ones could take a nap. I spent the afternoon finishing the dresses and doing all the girls hair. It was such a drama finding the dresses, but they worked out! I added little cap sleeves onto the 3 younger girls' dresses, and I thought they turned out great. I'm excited to get the pics back from the photographer! He was great and took our family picture as well as individual pics of each of the kids. The reception was beautiful at Abravenal Hall. We ended up staying till 10:30 to help pack everything up. It was a long day, but everything turned out great!

Rachael's Honeymoon Shower

Natalie and I had a wedding shower for Rachael that was a lingerie shower. It was beach themed and turned out SO cute! We played a couple of games, ate fruit pizzas, drank italian sodas, and opened lots of fun lingerie. Congrats Rachael! We are so excited for you!

Cabin Trip w/ the Trimbles - Day 2

Sunday was Father's day. It was fun to be able to relax and play all day with the kids. It's SO fun to see how well all the kids got along. We didn't have to entertain the kids much bc they just went off and played. Thanks guys for such a fun and relaxing weekend!

Cabin Trip w/ the Trimbles - Day 1

We invited the Trimbles up to the cabin and had a blast! The kids got along great and it was fun to relax. Aaron and Vivian came up for part of it and the kids loved playing with them. We headed up Friday evening and stayed through Sunday. 

Good-bye Big Pine Tree

We noticed last year that our pine tree had died. We tried to save it but we couldn't revive it. So we finally hired some guys to come take it down. It was a lot of work and it looks weird to not have it there, but we will lay some sod and it will still look great.

Oakley's Bday Party

One of the reasons I got a summer pass to Classic this year was because last week we had planned on going with our neighbors, and this week the younger girls were invited to a bday party. So if I was already paying to go twice, we might as well pay a little bit more and go the whole summer! It was Oakley's bday, so we met up with Natalie so the kids could help her celebrate! I'm realizing I need to take a few more pics when we are there...

Backyard Pool

I wasn't really planning on pulling out the pools, but it was SO hot and we were bored so we got everything out. The girls loved it...especially Brielle. She played in that pool the entire day!
