What a busy day! Before we went to Brayden's soccer game and Jaycie's birthday party, we had to dye all our eggs for our party that evening. My intentions were to make awesome Angry Bird eggs, but we were SO behind and had SO much to do that we pretty much ended up with KoolAid smelling eggs.

After the soccer game and birthday party we put Brynlee down for a nap and Josh watched the kids while I ran around getting everything ready for our evening. It was our Brewer FHE with a surprise graduation ceremony for my sister Rachelle. She recently finished her Master's degree online through Ashford University. They had been planning on traveling there for her graduation, but decided they couldn't afford it. My mom and I spent about 1 month planning a ceremony for her, which she didn't suspect at all (which was very tricky since she lives in the basement and was helping me plan the rest of the evening.) We held it at my ward's chapel. After my mom, dad, and I got everything set up, everyone arrived for dinner. We had pulled pork sandwiches and it was super yummy.
After dinner, I handed out "clues" for our next game. I told everyone we were doing an Amazing Race type game and handed everyone an envelope. Rachelle's clue told her to go to the YW room with Justin.
Everyone else got an invitation to the graduation in the Primary Room.
When Rachelle walked into the YW there was another envelope with the graduation invitation in it along with her cap and gown. While she got her cap and gown on, we all rushed into the Primary room. Josh's sister Rachael came and took all the kids to the nursery. My grandma and Cindy also snuck in. Here we all are waiting for Rachelle:
My dad and Sean also were in their Master's cap and gown. My dad officiated the ceremony and Sean was one of the speakers. I played the Pomp and Circumstance processional as all 3 of them filed in:
I need to get the rest of the pictures from my dad, but here is a couple I took:
It was such a neat, short program. It was especially neat for Rachelle since she only was planning on dressing up in her cap and gown for a couple of pictures at home. We made it as official as possible, even having her walk up to receive her diploma. It took a lot of work, but it was so worth it. We love you and are proud of you Rachelle!!! After we took pictures we all filed into the RS room for our annual egg roll. Rachelle and I had 3 different egg games and we all had a blast doing each one. The first one was having to push your egg with a spoon and race each other:
Then the traditional egg roll...which I won, btw:
The third game was tossing the game to your spouse and catching it, each time taking a step back. We all did pretty good with that one, since we could back up only so far. After that was all done we headed back to sing Happy Birthday to my mom and have dessert. What a busy day and a fun night!!!
