Another Photo Shoot

I wasn't pleased with the last photo shoot I did with Brynlee for the project I am working on. So after we got home one day I decided to try again. I didn't think it would go well bc she was ready for her nap, but she was great and it was a lot of fun. Here are just a couple of my favorites:

Rockband

We've been wanting to round up all our Rockband stuff for a while. So for family night we finally did it. It took some time locating everything, but we managed to find all the pieces and had fun rocking out. We all really enjoy it and it's fun for the kids to participate as well.

Fun With Paint

Thanks to Pinterest we found a fun little craft. (Don't mind Brooklyn in the lion costume...not sure what that was all about.) We put paint in ziplock bags and taped them to the counter. They mixed up the paint by moving it around and then could use their fingers to draw. It wasn't as fun as we were hoping. I might not have put enough paint in the bags. They got bored pretty quick and the activity was over. Oh well. We tried!

Mckinsley - Day 3

Our last day with Mckinsley was a lot of fun. She was pretty clingy, and Brynlee was really jealous by now so both of them followed me around ALL day wanting to be held. Here they are eating breakfast:

Day 2 With Mckinsley

Any time the door opened, the kids wanted to escape. So after lunch we headed outside again. Here's Brynlee after eating dirt:

 This is what happened when dad put pj's on Brynlee. Somehow he twisted the legs around and put them on backwards. It was pretty awkward for her and so funny!

Valentine's Day

Josh's brother and wife went to Peru for 9 days and we took care of their little 1 yr old Mckinsley for 3 of the days, one of which was Valentine's Day. We knew we wouldn't be able to do much so we made the msot of it at home. Here are the kids' valentines they took to school. The book mark reads, "You make my heart flutter." Thank you pinterest for this one:

 The 2 little ones enjoying lunch. They got along so well, although they both fought over who I got to hold...all the time.

 My mom stopped by and dropped off some valentines for the kids.

 It was semi warm, so we decided to head out for a walk. And no...I didn't push all those kids. Thankfully my sister Rachelle helped out a ton while Mckinsley was here.

 I was very surprised at how much Brooklyn loved playing with and helping take care of Mckinsley. She was really sweet and always concerned about her.

 We did a treasure hunt for Josh after he got home from work. They were SO excited to help hide the hearts and make clues for him.

 In the washer was the big treasure.

 I usually don't get actual presents for the kids, but I had been saving stuff I bought them this past month for today. They loved it, of course.

 Josh's parents came over and spent the evening with us. They helped play with the kids and we talked quite a bit. We ordered yummy Chinese food for dinner, put the kids to bed, then Steve and Kay left. The only thing I could really do for Josh was our traditional fondue. It was really good, eventhough we were still stuffed from dinner. Happy Valentine's Day babe!

I know Brynlee is too old for a bottle, but I love that it takes so long to drink from it. It's the best snuggle time we get with her.
